At our campsite in the Allier region, there’s something for everyone, from relaxation to leisure activities. Just a stone’s throw from the Sioule river, fishing enthusiasts will also find what they’re looking for.
Playground and sports facilities
Children have their own kingdom: a secure play area, equipped with swings and a slide for ages 3 to 12, where laughter resounds every day. Under parental supervision, they quickly make vacation friends.
And there’s plenty of space for older children to play ball or badminton on the multi-purpose playground. And for the competitive at heart, a ping-pong table awaits you… ideal for launching tournaments between campers aged 7 to 77!
You’ll love our 7-hole mini-golf course: just a stone’s throw from the pool and snack bar, it’s one of our guests’ favorite activities.
Clubs and balls are on loan free of charge for a relaxed game with friends or family in a lively Auvergne campsite.

Things to do around the campsite
Our campsite with activities in the Allier is ideally located near the Sioule Gorges, a natural paradise for hiking, via ferrata, canoeing or fishing. You can also venture out on motorcycles or bicycles on marked circuits, and discover charming villages or UNESCO-listed sites such as the Puy de Dôme and the Chaîne des Puys.
Less than an hour away, you’ll find Vichy, Montluçon, Moulins, Clermont-Ferrand… not to mention gourmet specialties such as truffade, pâté bourbonnais, Auvergne cheeses and many other delicacies. For fishing enthusiasts,the Sioule river and thepond 800 m from the campsite offer superb tranquil spots. Fishing cards available from the town hall!

Our aim is to create memories, not forced entertainment. Everyone participates at their own pace, in a relaxed atmosphere. The spirit of Camping des Papillons is simplicity and good humor.

In July and August, it’s party time at our family campsite! We organize themed evenings: homemade pizzas, gourmet burgers, aperitif platters, cocktails, concerts, karaoke or musical blind-tests…
